Description: One of my favorite spots for lunch is Saul's Barbeque. I eat there at least once a week. Then most Saturdays my Uncle Lee and Aunt Winnie like to hit Rick and Tina's place so I can't pass up a great meal. If you go in there tell them Mike Ross said to order "Family Style". They start bringing out the food. All kinds of food and as much as you want. But save room for the 'nana puddin'. That's right, it comes with the meal. That second picture is of my family sitting and Tina and Rick making sure we are getting enough to eat. My Aunt Winnie and Uncle Lee bought a house around the corner from me. They live in Richmond but come down most every weekend. The third picture. The Thai Room is another great place for lunch. There I am eating Pad Thai, Spicey Thai Noodles with my friend Steve Kiousis. Speaking of eateries. Steve owns the Stack'em High there on the By-Pass. Go by and see him and his wife Peggy and have a fantastic breakfast. We also have been going to the Fishbones Sunset Grill. It is right on the sound in Duck. Great location! The Kitty Hawk Pier is another nice spot for lunch with a great view. In fact you are over the ocean depending on the tide. The last picture is Winnie, Lee, Katherine, Linda and I at Bessie's for their Sunday Brunch with live Jazz. I don't have a picture but another nice place to eat is Friscoe's for their Friday popcorn shrimp lunch special. I will have some more pictures soon. |
